The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has forwarded a list of proposed cabinet members to the State Assembly.
The list according to the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, has 39 names with about 30% women, including youths, technocrats and politicians.
Some of the cabinet members who worked with Governor Sanwo-Olu during his first term could not make the list while few others returned.
Among those that staged a comeback are former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, Budget and Economic Planning, Mr Sam Egube, and Health Commissioner, Professor Akin Abayomi among others.
Meanwhile, former Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Rabiu Olowo, Moyosore Onigbanjo who was the State Attorney General, as well as the ex-Commissioner of Wealth Creation, Yetunde Arobieke and his counterpart in Transportation, Dr. Fredrick Oladehinde could not make the list.
