Lagos State Recognises Youths As Drivers Of Economy

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Saturday described the youth as the drivers of the new economic frontiers of the country.
Sanwo-Olu, in a statement on Saturday, by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Gboyega Akosile, in commemoration of the International Youth Day, saluted Nigerian youths, explaining that they were the drivers of the creative and digital economy.
He reaffirmed his administration’s unflinching commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for Nigerian youths in Lagos through the THEMES+ agenda of his government.
Sanwo-Olu said Nigerian youths’ contributions to the creative and digital economy in the country were evidenced by the fact that they constitute the demographic of influence, who were the new employers of labour.
New economic frontiers

He said the significant part of our T.H.E.M.E.S+ Agenda is about youths putting the wind beneath their wings as creators of a new future for the state and the nation.
