Army Commander Urges Troops To Remain Courageous and Dedicated

Troops have been urged to be courageous, confident, dedicated and resilient while carrying out their obligations.

The Commander 4 Special Forces Command Nigerian Army, Major General Hillary Nzan gave the advice while addressing troops of 167 Special Forces Battalion, Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri Abuja, during his operational visit to the Battalion.

General Nzan urged the troops to see themselves as one irrespective of their tribe, region, or religion, stressing that the Nigerian Army has bound them together.

The Commander equally advised “the troops to deceit from taking substances and not to involve themselves in any form of criminality.”

The Commander was received and briefed on the activities of the Battalion by the Acting Commanding Officer 167 Special Forces Battalion, Major Temipre Ezonfade.

Major Temipre highlighted some of the achievements the Battalion has recorded.

 

Voice of Nigeria reports that highlights of the visit were a briefing by the Commanding officer, a tour of the Cantonment, displayed by the troops of the Battalion, addressing of troops, signing of the visitor’s book, a presentation of survey, and a group photograph.
