Niger state Tourism Commissioner Calls for Unity to revamp sector

The recently inaugurated Commissioner of Culture and Tourism in Niger State, North Central Nigeria, Hajiya Fatima Adamu, has officially assumed her role and called for collaborative effort to elevate the state’s Culture and Tourism sector.

Addressing the Ministry’s employees, Commissioner Hajiya Fatima Adamu emphasized the need to confront the challenges of transforming the Culture and Tourism State into an internationally esteemed destination.
She pledged to explore new avenues to firmly establish the Ministry’s foundations.

Commissioner Adamu underscored the connection between the Tourism sector and Culture, recognizing their pivotal roles in advancing the socio-economic well-being of Niger State’s diverse cultural communities.

She vowed to maintain an open-door policy, welcoming constructive criticism as a means to propel the Ministry forward.

In her call for a unified front, Hajiya Fatima Adamu urged the Ministry’s personnel to cultivate a strong team spirit, fostering an environment where every individual can contribute their expertise towards advancing the development of Niger State.

Welcoming Commissioner Adamu to the Ministry, Dr. Idris A. Legbo, the Permanent Secretary, expressed unwavering support and loyalty.

He affirmed of the Ministry’s commitment to work tirelessly under her leadership to rejuvenate the Tourism sector and champion the preservation of the region’s rich cultural heritage.
