The Kwara State Governor, North Central Nigeria, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has met with the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed in New York.
The meeting was on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly.
AbdulRazaq was accompanied to the meeting by the Chief Executive Officer of BUA Group Abdulsamad Rabiu.
Mohammed lauded the Kwara Governor for his effort to champion women’s inclusion in politics and governance in Nigeria.
Kwara State has a cabinet composed of 50 percent women.
The UN Deputy Secretary-General noted that Kwara has set a standard for other states to follow.
