Tribunal Dismisses PDP’s Petition In Kaduna State

The tribunal sitting in Kaduna State has dismissed the petition filed in by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and it’s candidate, Isa Ashiru against the incumbent Governor, Uba Sani for lacking merit.

The three member panel of judges, chaired by Justice Victor Oviawie dismissed the petition on the ground that the preliminary appeal by the petitioners was filed out of time.

However, two of the judges, the secretary and member of the panel, Justice D. A. Damulak and Justice N. Nonye, in their different judgements delivered that a re-run should be conducted twenty four polling units, in seven wards of four Local Government Areas of the state.

The judgement which was delivered via zoom had in attendance party stakeholders and many residents of the state.
