NYSC Coordinator Prays For Outgoing Corps Members in Ebonyi State

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has offered special prayers of favor and progress for the Outgoing 2022 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members in the State.

The NYSC State Coordinator Mrs Nasamu Olayinka said this prayers during the passing out parade of the Batch at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium in Abakaliki the State Capital.

Nasamu said “I pray for you that as you leave here to your different States and homes, favor will follow you. As you are all aware not everybody that camped is passing out today, as for you, the service you have rendered to this State and Nigeria is quite commendable, as you go, you will get good jobs, and most of you will be appointed into political positions”.

 She encouraged them to use the entrepreneurship skills they had learned during camping to improve their economic well-being.

“Even as you wait for a Government job, the entrepreneurship skills you have learnt will sustain you economically”. Nasamu added.

Also During the event, the Assistant Director in charge of Corps welfare and Health Services,  Mrs Okeke-Ekpe Ngozi encouraged all the passing out Corps Members to remain good Ambassadors in all they do.

Mrs Ngozi also Charged the female outgoing corps members to be respectful as a good character is the beauty of every woman.

One of the outgoing corps members, Miss Ikede Favour, on behalf of others thanked the Ebonyi people for their hospitality throughout their stay in the State.

The total number of 2022 batch ‘C’ stream 1 billed to pass out today were 614, out of which,  263 were males while 351 were females.

The number of Corps Members who absconded were 14 persons while those whose service were extended were  37 persons.
