The Kwara State Governor, North Central Nigeria, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated Malam Issa Lanre Onilu on his appointment as the Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), describing his choice as both befitting and promising.
The Governor commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the choice of Onilu, a senior journalist, patriot, reputable party man, and a distinguished Kwara indigene for the role.
The Governor in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, said he is convinced that Malam Onilu, “who is versed in the complexities of the Nigerian state, the nuances of national development and the varied aspirations of its peoples across demographics, is well-equipped for the big task of leading an institution as important as the National Orientation Agency at this defining moment.”
He prayed Allah to grant him the wisdom, good judgment, and sound health to make indelible marks as the helmsman of “this important institution of the Nigerian state.”
