APC Chairman Mourns Passing of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje expressed profound sorrow at the demise of the esteemed Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ado Abdulrahman Ibrahim.

The news of the Kogi state monarch’s passing, which occurred on a Sunday morning at a health facility in Abuja, has left a void in the hearts of many.

Alhaji Ado Abdulrahman Ibrahim ascended the throne of his forefathers on June 2nd, 1997, and during his reign, he earned the respect and admiration of his subjects and the nation at large.

Advancement of Ebiraland

In a statement issued by the APC National Chairman’s Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Alhaji Ado Abdulrahman Ibrahim was eulogized as a fatherly figure who dedicated his life to the advancement of Ebiraland, Kogi state, and Nigeria as a whole.

His leadership was marked by humility, unwavering commitment, diligence, and a warm hospitality that extended to both his local and diaspora subjects.

Ganduje’s statement also underlined the remarkable resilience, wisdom, and commitment to tradition that defined the life and journey of the late Ohinoyi.

Unwavering dedication

His reign as the 4th Ohinoyi of Ebiraland left an indelible mark on the region, and his unwavering dedication to discipline serves as a lasting inspiration for generations to come.

Offering his condolences, the former governor of Kano state extended his sympathy to Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the immediate family of the late monarch, and the entire Kogite community.

Ganduje prayed for Allah’s forgiveness for any shortcomings of the departed and beseeched that the late Ohinoyi’s soul may find eternal rest.
