Newly Appointed ICPC Secretary, Oparaodu Resumes Office

The newly appointed Secretary to the Independent Corrupt Practises and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Mr. Clifford Oparaodu, has resumed office.

He took over from Professor Musa Abubakar.

While taking over in Abuja, Mr. Oparaodu expressed his appreciation to Professor Abubakar for facilitating a smooth transition, expressing his desire to hit the ground running.

The new secretary urged all staff to form a bond of cooperation and support to surmount challenges that may arise during duty.

According to him, working in the ICPC is a “national call that requires honesty, mutual respect, and partnership to take the Commission to greater heights.”

The outgoing Secretary to the Commission, Professor Musa Abubakar, congratulated the incoming Secretary on his appointment and presented a dossier containing his handover notes.

The erstwhile Secretary to the ICPC urged the management staff to give the new man their full cooperation to ensure the success of the new administration in the commission.
