The Minister of State for Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande has eulogized the late Governor of Ondo State, the late Arakunrin Akeredolu.

The minister who said he has lost more than a friend described the late Governor as a father figure, an adviser, a counsellor and a guardian.

According to Olawande, the late Akeredolu was much more than the governor of his state as he was in the class of people who were very dear to him.

The Minister also reflected on Arakunrin’s profound impact, while sharing personal anecdotes that underscore Akeredolu’s caring and compassionate nature.

He further urged a commitment to carry forward the late governor’s legacy of principled politics, justice advocacy through law practice, and an unwavering dedication to truth.

“The focus rests on the force of his character, showcasing that fair and transparent success is not only aspirational but also achievable”.

The Minister of State for Youth Development extended his heartfelt prayers to Mummy, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, and other members of the family.
