Nigeria’s Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, has advised entertainers to put more effort in projecting Nigeria to the world.

In a New Year message, Musawa said Nigeria’s creative economy is a vibrant drapery woven together by the hands of countless talented individuals.

“In this New Year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible talents and creativity that our country has to offer, said

“Our creative economy is a vibrant tapestry, woven together by the hands of countless talented individuals. From traditional art forms to contemporary expressions, Nigeria’s cultural heritage is a wellspring of inspiration. Musawa added

“Our dancers, poets and musicians bring stories to life, connecting us to our roots and opening doors to new possibilities, she added.

“Our fashion designers and craftsmen blend tradition with innovation, creating unique pieces that reflect our cultural heritage and captivate the world.

“Our filmmakers and gamers transport us to different worlds, ignite our imagination, and challenge our perceptions. They tell our stories and amplify our voices.

“Our actors and playwrights inspire us, provoke thought, and evoke emotions. They remind us of the power of storytelling and the strength of our collective imagination.
“This festive season, let us celebrate our creative spirit, embrace our heritage, and look forward to a new year filled with endless possibilities.

“To all the creatives in Nigeria, I want to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your talents, your passion, heartbeat of our nation.
“Here’s to a New Year filled with inspiration, joy, and prosperity for all our talented creatives.”
