I will never return to the music Industry – Britney Spears

American singer and songwriter Britney Spears took to Instagram on Wednesday to quash rumors of her recording a new album announcing that she would not come back to the music industry.

“Just so we’re clear most of the news is trash!!! They keep saying I’m turning to random people to do a new album I will never return to the music industry !!!”Spears wrote.

“When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people,”Spears added noting that she’d ghostwritten over 20 songs in the past two years.

Spears said in her memoir‘The Woman In Me’ that her conservatorship had been “deadly” for her music career.

“Pushing forward in my music career is not my focus at the moment,” Spears wrote.

“It’s time for me not to be someone who other people want; it’s time to actually find myself,” she continued.
