Senator Mustapha commends Nigerian Military on territorial security

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Malam Saliu Mustapha has commended the Nigerian Army personnel for their resilience and commitment to the protection of territorial integrity of the country.

Mustapha made the commendation in Abuja while decorating Brigadier General Hussein Braimo, a Kwara citizen who was amongst the military personnel recently elevated from Colonel to Brigadier General.

The Senator who admitted that the Nigerian Army is confronted with daunting challenges, lauded the efforts of the Army personnel towards achieving the constitutional mandate of the Armed forces to protect the country.

While appreciating the military for checkmating fledgling security challenges in the country, the legislator asked those elevated recently to see their elevations as a challenge to redouble their efforts towards making Nigeria a secured nation by flushing out bandits and other terrorists groups in the country.

Mustapha, however rejoiced with Brig Gen Hussein Braimo on his elevation and urged him to be more dedicated and committed to the service of the country.

The senator who described Brig Gen Braimo as a fine, intelligent, and incorruptible military officer, prayed Allah to enable him reach the zenith of his military career.

“I rejoice with Brig Gen. Hussein Braimo on his recent elevation from Colonel to Brigadier General. This is a testimony of his hard work, commitment and dedication to the service of our dear country.

“He is a great officer of the Nigerian Army and highly committed to the fight against insurgency. I am really happy when I read the news that he was amongst the officers recently elevated. It is my prayer that Almighty Allah will allow him to reach the zenith of his military career,” he said.
