President Tinubu meets Rivers state Governor, Fubara

President Bola Tinubu has met with the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara behind closed door at the Presidential Villa.

When accosted by State House Correspondents on why he was at the Villa and what he discussed with the President, Fubara said that the visit was private.

“It’s a private visit,” he said.

The last meeting the Presfubarafubaeaident had with the governor had the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike and other stakeholders from the State in attendance.

The political feud between Fubara and his political mentor, Wike, was resolved at the last meeting.

Governor Fubara had briefed the President on the implementation of the agreement reached on the political crisis in Rivers and sought for President Tinubu’s support.
