Court Judgement: Senator Nwebonyi Congratulates Ebonyi State Governor

The Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, Onyekachi Nwebonyi has Congratulated the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru over the affirmation of his Victory by the apex Court.

Nwebonyi said the victory had been expected as the people of the State massively voted for the Governor during the last poll.

He thanked the Judiciary for restoring the hope of the common man.

Nwebonyi who is also the Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th Nigerian Senate, described the Supreme Court’s victory of Governor Nwifuru as affirmation of the general will of Ebonyi people.

The Lawmaker thanked Ebonyi State people for their love for Governor Nwifuru as manifested in their overwhelming votes, consistent prayers and  solidarity during and after the elections.

“Now that the issues of election has been put to rest, I must reiterate my earlier call for the litigants to close ranks and work together with our Governor for the general good of all Ebonyi people. They should all surrendered their blueprints to the table in order to harness its potentials in delivering the  dividends of democracy to our people,” Nwebonyi said.

He thanked  the Apex  Court for upholding justice.
