Nasarawa: Commission releases intervention funds for UBE Projects

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) and the Nasarawa State Government have released the 2023 counterparts funds intervention for UBE projects.
The Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi ( Barayan Daddare) stated this Tuesday while declaring open the 2023 financial bids opening ceremony at the SUBEB  Headquarters of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Universal Basic Education Commission for their concerted efforts aimed at providing a common learning environment for all learners in the state.
Represented by the Director, Administration and Supplies of the Board, Mr. Emmanuel Ekuse, charged the potential contractors to avoid cutting corners, assuring that the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board will continue to observe due process and transparency in the award of contracts and urged those who would be selected as contractors on merit to make the Board proud.
In a separate comment, the MD/CEO of Awe contractors, Hajia Amina Muhammad who responded on behalf of Bidders and Bids observer Alhassan Igah, expressed satisfaction with the process, saying it was a fair and excellent exercise.
The highlight of the event was the financial bids opened by the Deputy Director, of Procurement Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Hajia Hauwa Abdulkarim.
