General Ahmed emphasised the scheme’s dedication to excellence, utilising stakeholder forums for continuous evaluation and the exploration of best practices to address identified challenges.

Notably, he discussed the recurring issues faced by the NYSC, leading to the adoption of enduring strategies, particularly the integration of digital solutions for efficiency.

The theme of the workshop, “Unlocking Innovative Solutions to the Challenges of the Mobilization Process,” was chosen to encourage fresh perspectives and effective problem-solving approaches.

Brigadier General Ahmed underscored the scheme’s efforts in exposing fraudulent practices, blacklisting institutions engaged in such activities, and collaborating with African countries to establish guidelines for graduates’ mobilisation.

Collaboration

Expressing gratitude for support from various stakeholders, the DG NYSC called for continued collaboration to combat the infiltration of fake graduates, particularly in sensitive sectors like health and education.

The Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio-Ibrahim commended the NYSC for organising the programme that brought stakeholders together to enhance the mobilisation process.
