Foundation donates educational, clothing materials to Bauchi orphanage

Nurture Roots Foundation, a non-profit organisation, has donated educational and clothing materials to the Bauchi State Orphanage School to enhance the learning process among the under-privileged students.

The Coordinator, Bauchi North Central Senatorial District, Hajiya Hadiza-Mudi Abdullah, made the donation, when he led a delegation of the group to the orphanage home in Bauchi on Thursday, .

Abdullah said that the items would be shared among the 50 orphans in the school.

According to her, the gesture will contribute to the welfare and educational training of the children.

She said that similar exercise would be conducted in different parts of the state.

“Nurture Roots Foundation is a non-profit charity organisation with the aim of providing foundational knowledge and skills essential for the development of young children and young people to achieve their full potential.

“We focus our efforts on providing the next generation with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to access the jobs of the future and solve problems to improve lives in their society,” she said.

While receiving the delegation and gift items, the Headmaster of the school, Mr Muhammed Isa, thanked the group for its kind gesture and promised to share the items judiciously to the beneficiaries.
