Ministry of Creative Economy unveils iDICE Program at Omniverse Summit

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy is set to launch the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises, iDICE program at a stakeholders session on Tuesday 27th February 2024.

The Federal government’s flagship program is expected to be unveiled by the Nigerian Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy,, Hannatu Musawa during the Omniverse Summit holding at the Landmark Events Center in Lagos, South-west Nigeria.
Musawa will also use the platform to provide a strategic vision for digital professionals and enthusiasts.
The minister said that the summit will as a forum to foster partnerships and raise the bar in the creative and cultural industry.
“The Omniverse Summit emerges as the nexus for African digitization, a cradle for innovation, and a beacon for entrepreneurship. It stands as a unifying platform that encapsulates the essence of the digital economy, uniting stakeholders from technology, startups, research, academia, regulatory bodies, government, media, artificial intelligence, and the creative and cultural industries.
“This platform will provide enthusiasts and digital professionals with a strategic vision and a golden opportunity to network, foster partnerships, and chart a course for the economic upliftment of the Creative and Cultural industries”, She explained.
In line with the visionary Nigeria Destination 2030 initiative, the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises, iDICE, program is aimed at catapulting entrepreneurship and innovation within the digital and creative domains, and to specifically engender job creation and stimulate economic vitality.
The Ministry calls for Registration of participants at www.theomniverse.africa as it embarks on the journey to becoming Africa’s creative capital.
