Niger Government Acquires 1000 Tractors for Farmers

In a bid to enhance agricultural development in Niger State, North-Central, Nigeria, President Tinubu has agreed to participate in the commissioning of 1000 tractors and other agricultural machinery acquired by the state government.

The decision was announced following Governor Bago’s visit to the Aso Villa.

During the meeting, Governor Bago shared his agricultural initiatives with President Tinubu, as well as “plans to modernize farming practices and enhance food security within the state.”

The president commended Governor Bago for his commitment to making Niger State contribute substantially to the food security agenda of the federal government.

He further stressed the need for ‘collaboration’ among the federal and state governments in promoting agricultural development nationwide.
