Cross River Governor Expands Cabinet, Makes Fresh Appointments

The Governor of Cross River State in southern Nigeria, Senator Bassey Otu has expanded his executive council with the appointment of 38 new Special Advisers.

The governor also appointed 14 persons into boards and agencies of government, while 31 others have been made Special and Personal Assistants (S.As and P.As).

Wealth of experience

 

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeche, Governor Otu has charged the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new office.

 

Some of those appointed include the immediate past Special Adviser, Events Management and Governor’s Office, Mr. Ken Aklah, who is now the Special Adviser, Power and Dr. Jake Otu Enyia, former lawmaker and Law lecturer has been appointed Special Adviser, Political Affairs amongst others.
