Victory of APC in LG Polls Testifies to Governor’s Popularity -Kwara Speaker

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly,  Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has congratulated  the 16 Local Government Council Chairmen and 193 Councilors recently elected in the just concluded Local Government elections in the state.

Danladi-Salihu equally congratulated the leadership, stakeholders, and members of the All Progressives Congress APC describing the victory as a testament to the general acceptance of the ruling party under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq by the people.

He also commended the KWASIEC, security agencies, members of the fourth estate of the realm, and the electorates for their different roles in ensuring that democracy continues to thrive in the state.

While charging the newly elected public officers across Local Government areas and wards to strive to justify the confidence electorates willingly reposed in them, the Speaker urged them to hit the ground running by delivering more dividends of democracy to the grassroots and complementing the good work of Governor AbdulRazaq.
