Gombe: Senator Siyako Supplies Medical Equipment to Strengthen Healthcare systems

Senator Anthony Siyako Yaro, representing Gombe South Senatorial District, has intervened to improve healthcare in his district by providing medical equipment to four medical facilities across the four local government areas.

This initiative is aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare services for the people of Gombe South.

The benefiting Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) sre Bule Kaltin PHC in Kaltungo LGA, Jessu PHC in Balanga LGA, Kekkel PHC in Billiri LGA, and Bangunji PHC in Shongom LGA.

Senator Yaro emphasized that the provision of essential medical equipment, including those for male and female wards, will significantly boost the capacities of these facilities to serve their communities effectively.

Speaking at the equipment flag-off event in Kaltungo, Senator Yaro, represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Eli Meller Akeme, stated that the gesture was aimed at modernizing healthcare centres with cutting-edge medical tools and technology.

He noted that the initiative was part of a broader strategy to address healthcare challenges in the region, creating a lasting positive impact on the lives of Gombe South residents.

Mr. Yazu D. Musa, the officer in charge of one of the benefiting primary healthcare centers, received the equipment on behalf of the facilities and acknowledged that the initiative reflects Senator Yaro’s unwavering commitment to improving the health and well-being of his constituents.

Traditional leaders and other local officials present at the event commended Senator Yaro’s proactive approach to upgrading healthcare standards in Gombe South.

They expressed optimism that the intervention will greatly enhance healthcare delivery across the region.

The medical equipment provided includes hospital beds, diagnostic tools, and other critical supplies, empowering healthcare professionals to deliver more comprehensive services.
