Governor Commends Anambra State Speaker for Commitment to Legislative Excellenc

The Governor of Anambra State,  Chukwuma Soludo has praised Speaker Udeze of the Anambra State House of Assembly for his unwavering dedication to legislative excellence and the advancement of the state.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message on the Speaker’s 52nd birthday, Governor Soludo lauded Udeze as a distinguished lawyer and politician known for his integrity and exemplary leadership of the House since 2023.

The Governor celebrated not only the Speaker’s birthday milestone but also acknowledged Udeze’s positive impact on Anambra State, wishing him continued success and achievements in service to the state.

Under Speaker Udeze’s guidance, the 8th Assembly has achieved significant milestones, passing over twenty bills aimed at shaping the future of the state.

Some key bills include the Anambra State Anti-Touting Bill, Anambra State Environmental Management Bill, and Anambra State Oil-Producing Areas Development Commission Bill, among others.

Moreover, the Assembly has passed over 70 resolutions addressing socio-economic challenges in the state, setting a record for effective governance.

Speaker Udeze has also strengthened the legislative process through oversight functions, promoting accountability in public spending and resolving numerous public petitions to foster peace and fairness in Anambra State.

In addition to legislative achievements, the Speaker has overseen upgrades to the infrastructure of the Anambra State House of Assembly, improving operational efficiency and enhancing collaboration with Governor Charles C. Soludo on critical projects.

This cooperative effort ensures that the legislature remains a stronghold of democratic governance in Anambra state.
