Former Super Eagles player, Daniel Amokachi, has been revealed as the new Technical Adviser for Lobi Stars football Club by Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State.

In addition to this appointment, Governor Alia has set up a forensic audit panel to investigate the financial affairs of Lobi Stars Football Club.

This move comes in response to ongoing complaints about unpaid salaries to players and officials despite the government’s financial support.

During a meeting at the Government House Makurdi, Governor Alia commended Amokachi’s football career and urged him to improve the club’s performance.

He also presented the new adviser with a club jersey.

Amokachi expressed gratitude for the warm reception he has received in Benue State and emphasized the importance of promptly paying players’ salaries as a motivation for success in the league.

The forensic audit panel comprises experienced auditors, including Mr. Sam Chir, Mr. Bishop Dzungwe, Mr. Akpusugh Terungwa, and Dr. Gberindyer Abraham Chia.

Dr. Philip Nongu, Chairman of Lobi Stars FC, also attended the meeting to introduce the new Technical Adviser to Governor Alia.
