Kano State Police Presents N83m Cheques To 45 Deceased Families

Police in Kano state North West Nigeria has presented cheques of N83,102,207.38 to 45 families of deceased officers.
The Kano command has taken the step in supporting the families of deceased police officers and those injured in the line of duty.
The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Salman Dogo made the presentation at the Police Headquarters in Bompai Kano.
He said; the gesture reinforces the police force’s dedication to supporting its officers and their loved ones.
The presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries is a clear demonstration of the Inspector-General of Police’s commitment to the welfare of police personnel and their families.” 
CP Dogo explained that, “the financial support aims to alleviate the difficulties faced by the families of fallen heroes who have paid the ultimate price while serving the nation.”
He emphasized the importance of utilizing the support wisely, ensuring it brings relief and comfort during difficult times.
In a moment of joy and gratitude, the beneficiaries thanked the IGP and promised to make good use of the money, which comes at a crucial time of need.
