The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy (FMACCE) has partnered with Google to launch an initiative aimed at empowering 2,500 youths through a dedicated training program facilitated by the Del York Creative Academy.

Minister of FMACCE, Hannatu Musa-Musawa, stated that this initiative is part of the Creative Leap Acceleration Programme (CLAP) and will eventually empower 10,000 young creatives across Nigeria.

The program is designed to drive skill development, foster innovation, and promote public-private partnerships within Nigeria’s creative industry.

Musa-Musawa noted that CLAP is being implemented by the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) as the primary agency, leveraging its expertise to ensure the program’s objectives are met. These include equipping aspiring creatives with essential skills and promoting sustainable growth in Nigeria’s creative industry.
