The Nigerian Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has revealed plans to partner with Zeberced Group to build industrial parks and innovation hubs in the territory.

The FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike disclosed this when the management of the company, led by its Managing Director, Mr Adil Kurt, visited him in Abuja on Thursday.

Wike said that the move was to enhance industrial growth and economic development in the nation’s capital.

According to him, the partnership will focus on establishing several industrial parks and innovation hubs.

“This is expected to create thousands of jobs and stimulate economic activities in Abuja.”

He further said that the collaboration aligns with Nigeria’s vision to diversify the economy and reduce dependency on oil revenue.

The minister also said he had entered an agreement with Zeberced to encourage investors and the upcoming tax credit to facilitate further development.

“Our goal is to empower local industries and create an environment that nurtures innovation and productivity, and we believe that this partnership will foster a resilient economy.

“We believe that the partnership will ensure that the local population benefits from the nation’s industrial growth,” he said.

Wike also said that the ongoing Abuja Business and Investments Summit would strengthen the potential for collaboration with Istanbul in areas like housing, roads, and energy.

He expressed optimism that the collaboration between Istanbul and FCT would create a synergistic environment for industrial growth, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.

Earlier, the Managing Director, Zeberced Group, Mr Adil Kurt said that the Zeberced Group, known for its expertise in sustainable development and industrial solutions, would leverage its technology and experience to support local businesses and entrepreneurs.

“By working closely with the FCTA, we aim to position Abuja as a leading industrial hub in Nigeria,” Kurt said.
