Lawmaker Lauds Kwara State Governor for Rehabilitation of Rural Roads

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central at the Nigerian Senate, Saliu Mustapha has commended the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the construction, rehabilitation, and upgrade of 209.77 km of rural roads.
Mustapha, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture, Production Services and Rural Development gave the commendation in a statement released after attending the flag-off ceremony of the project by the State government under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP).
The lawmaker said that the project would help to improve the rural infrastructure and boost agricultural development in the State.
“I commend Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his commitment to enhancing the state’s infrastructure and for prioritizing the needs of our rural communities,” the lawmaker said.
Project to Foster Economic Growth
The Senator also noted that the project promises to foster economic growth and improve the quality of life of people in the State as well as create access to markets for the farmers.
“This project will not only facilitate easier access to markets for our farmers but also foster economic growth and improve the overall quality of life for residents,” he said.
The Lawmaker however, expressed his optimism in the positive impact of the project, saying that ,“Together, we are making strides toward a more prosperous and connected Kwara State. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on our state.”
