President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the nominations of Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, and Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu for nominations as Ministers of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Minister of Labour & Employment, and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, respectively.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, made this known to State House Correspondents on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council Meeting.
Mr Onanuga also disclosed the nomination of Dr Jumoke Oduwole to serve as the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development, and Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development, as well as Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad, as the new Minister of State for Education.
The Presidential aide stated that the appointments of the 7 nominees await the confirmation of the Senate.

Onanuga added that President Tinubu charged the newly appointed ministers as well as their reassigned colleagues to see their appointment as a call to serve the nation; he added that all appointees must understand the administration’s eagerness and determination to set Nigeria on the path to irreversible growth and invest the best of their abilities into the actualisation of the government’s priorities.
Meanwhile, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, who served as the Minister of State, Education, has now been redeployed as the Minister of State Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa the former Minister State, Health is now to serve as the Minister of Education, Barr. Bello Muhammad Goronyo former Minister of State, Water Resources and Sanitation will now serve as the Minister of State Works, Abubakar Momoh former Minister of Niger Delta Development is now re-assigned with the expanded responsibilities of the Minister of Regional Development.
Others redeployed are: Uba Maigari Ahmadu Minister of State Steel Development Minister of State Regional Development, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Minister of State Finance, Sen. John Owan Enoh Minister of Sports Development Minister of State Trade and Investment [Industry], Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim Minister of State, Police Affairs Minister of Women Affairs, Ayodele Olawande Minister of State for Youth Development Minister for Youth Development 10. Dr. Salako Iziaq Adekunle Adeboye Minister of State, Environment Minister of State.
