Nigeria’s men’s handball team has advanced to the final of the IHF Trophy Africa continental phase after defeating Cameroon 44-33 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Led by coach Emeka Nnamani, the defending champions overcame Cameroon’s strong defense by utilizing quick breaks and wing plays to secure a 22-15 lead by halftime. Left-back Christian Bolaji played a key role, scoring crucial goals from distance and the wings. Despite an injury to Foloki in the last minute, he was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the match.

Coach Nnamani praised his team’s resilience and commitment, expressing confidence in their chances in the final. Nigeria will face Guinea in the final match on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Nigerian time, with hopes of qualifying for the intercontinental phase.
