Afrobeats superstar Kizz Daniel, also known as Vado D’Great, is mourning the loss of his mother-in-law, who passed away from breast cancer. He shared the heartbreaking news, revealing that his wife has just lost her mother.

The father-of-three shared the sad news on his X (formerly Twitter) account, announcing the passing of his mother-in-law and urging his fans to offer a silent prayer for her. He also expressed his sorrow over the significant loss.

“My wife lost her mom to breast cancer, and I’m here mourning with her… Say a prayer for her mom, Vaddicts,” he wrote.

The singer and songwriter publicly introduced his wife, Mjay Anidugbe, for the first time on March 1, 2024, after being married to her for four years.

He shared a series of posts showing his wife dancing to his songs beside him, her face beaming with joy. This followed a playful exchange with his female fans on X, where he confirmed his marriage on March 6, 2024.

“I’m married to an Igbo/Warri girl. Nothing you won teach Mr. wey I never hear,” he joked.

The couple welcomed triplets—JAMAL, JALIL, and JELANI—in May 2021, though they tragically lost one of the boys just four days later. In the wake of this loss, Kizz Daniel pledged to be the best father to his remaining sons. He also shared online that he had purchased property for them, posting the documents as proof.

When she secured an endorsement deal with Mikano Motors on March 10, 2024, the chart-topping artist took to his Instagram to congratulate her. “Congrats Wifey @mrsanidugbe on landing your first endorsement deal @mikanomotors, just 7 days on the scene. Proud of you,” he wrote.
