Governors Soludo, Mbah pledge to Support Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s Vision

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, and his Enugu State counterpart, Dr. Peter Mbah, have pledged their support for the administration and vision of Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Benard Odoh.
The governors expressed their solidarity during a courtesy visit to Professor Odoh on Saturday, coinciding with the 13th Annual Zik Lecture Series held at the university’s main campus in Awka.
Representing Governor Soludo, Deputy Governor Dr. Onyeka Ibezim conveyed optimism that the new Vice-Chancellor will realize his plans for the institution.
He emphasized the significance of leadership in steering the university towards progress.
Governor Mbah also praised Professor Odoh for his foresight and ambitious vision for the university.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partner with Nnamdi Azikiwe University to help ensure his successful tenure.
“I have no doubt in the Vice-Chancellor’s capacity to elevate the institution to a global stage,” Governor Mbah remarked.
In response, Vice-Chancellor Odoh thanked both governors for their support and acknowledged their roles in fostering good governance.
He assured them of his administration’s dedication to strengthening collaborations with relevant agencies and governments to advance the university’s Disruptive Model development blueprint.
