Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, with the possibility of including struggling forward Joshua Zirkzee in the deal.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has impressed this season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in nine appearances. Despite his strong form, the 25-year-old is expected to return to Naples next summer, with rumors of an early termination of his loan being dismissed.

The Nigerian international had been sidelined at Napoli after failing to secure a permanent move during the summer, with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and clubs in Saudi Arabia showing interest. However, Osimhen rejected offers from the Saudi Pro League in favor of staying in Europe.

While Chelsea and Arsenal remain interested, Manchester United are now reportedly in the race, with new head coach Ruben Amorim keen on bringing Osimhen to Old Trafford. United may offer Zirkzee, who has struggled to make an impact, as part of the negotiations. Journalist Gerardo Fasano noted that the inclusion of Zirkzee could be used to help facilitate the deal, with Juventus also reportedly monitoring the Dutch forward.

Manchester United are in the market for a new striker, with Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund combining for only three goals so far this season. Zirkzee has not scored since the opening day of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign, while Højlund has netted once. Osimhen, with a record of 76 goals and 18 assists in 133 appearances for Napoli, would offer a significant upgrade in attack for United, making this potential move an attractive option for both clubs.
