G20 Summit: Brazil President Welcomes Nigerian Leader

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil and First Lady Janja da Silva have welcomed the Nigerian Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu to the opening of the G20 2024 Summit at the Museum of Modern Art, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

The first session of the G20 summit focuses on the fight against hunger and poverty.

The group under its global alliance against hunger and poverty is encouraging members and other nations of the world to scale up finance and knowledge for human development.

The Nigerian Leader, President Tinubu is expected to address the gathering in this regard.

Leaders of member countries attending the event include President Joe Biden of the US, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Emmanuel Macron among others.
