The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has ordered a heavyweight clash between Congolese boxer Martin Bakole (21-1-0, 16 KOs) and Nigeria’s Efe Ajagba (20-1-0, 14 KOs) to determine the next mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight title.

This decision follows the withdrawals of Agit Kabayel and Zhilei Zhang from their scheduled bouts with Bakole, creating an opportunity for Ajagba to step in. Bakole, currently ranked No. 4 in the IBF standings, is on an impressive run, most recently defeating Jared Anderson in August. Following that victory, Bakole confidently proclaimed his dominance, stating, “You don’t stand with Martin Bakole. I am a big man, and I am a machine. No one wants to fight me.”
