The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has praised Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, as a pivotal figure in the nation’s efforts to support its most vulnerable citizens.

Governor Sani characterised her as the “mother of the nation,” emphasising her dedication and compassion toward those in need.

The Governor expressed these sentiments during the distribution of food items and palliatives for the Christmas and New Year celebrations at the Yar’Adua Multipurpose Hall, Murtala Square, Kaduna, reflecting on Senator Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian service.

He noted her influential role as First Lady of Lagos State, where she launched numerous social intervention programs designed to enhance the lives of the poor and marginalised communities.

Sani remarked that Senator Tinubu’s life is a testament to service, commending her efforts in the 9th Senate, where she championed bills and motions focused on empowering the less privileged.

He shared personal anecdotes from their time as colleagues, highlighting her generosity in providing welfare packages to fellow senators during festive seasons.

As First Lady of Nigeria, Sani acknowledged that Senator Oluremi Tinubu continues to advocate for the underprivileged, citing her Renewed Hope Schemes for the Elderly and Women as key initiatives that reflect her dedication to societal welfare.

Furthermore, Sani underscored the distribution of palliatives as an extension of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to easing the hardships faced by Nigerians.

He reiterated the administration’s ongoing social intervention programs designed to bring relief to the country’s most vulnerable populations, reinforcing the government’s mission to foster hope and improve living conditions nationwide.

“Our dear President has initiated many social intervention programmes aimed at bringing succour to the weak, poor, and vulnerable in Nigeria,” he stated.
