Christmas: NTAC DG Urges Nigerians to Embrace Religious Tolerance

In a heartfelt message for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aids Corp (NTAC), Mr. Buba Yakubu, has called upon Nigerians to foster tolerance and love among one another, regardless of religious and tribal differences.

Speaking from Abuja, the nation’s capital, Mr. Yakubu commended the Nigerians for their continued support of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, expressing optimism for a brighter future by the year 2025.

“Let’s remain steadfast in our support for our leaders, particularly President Bola Tinubu, as he steers our nation toward economic recovery, therefore, Cooperation, prayers and encouragement for our leaders are essential to their success and, in turn, to the prosperity of our nation,” the Director General called

Reflecting on the year, he emphasised that despite global socio-economic challenges, Nigerian leaders have managed to navigate the year well, and the signs point to a more promising 2025 ahead.

Yakubu highlighted that Christmas is a unique occasion for showcasing love, encouraging Nigerians from all walks of life to reach out to one another during this festive season.

“The spirit of Christmas invites us to share gifts, hope, prayers, and encouragement with everyone around us,” the DG noted that the celebrations serve as a time for reflection on our achievements over the past year.

He reminded Nigerians that true celebration means more than festivities; it’s about showing care and kindness to others without regard for their beliefs or background.

Christmas exemplifies core Christian values, which teach us that love is about giving a piece of ourselves to those we cherish, “As we celebrate this season, let’s remember that our joy is incomplete unless we share it with someone who needs to feel valued.” Mr. Yakubu concluded.
