Fashion Enterprise Wendy Wadoka Gives Back to Society

It was a sunny Friday afternoon at Girls High School Azuiyiokwu, Abakaliki, as Wendy Wadoka Fashion, a non partisan organization, arrived  for a much-anticipated community service outreach.

The air was alive with the excitement of students eager to engage in a day of learning and inspiration from Wadoka Fashion.

The team, led by its founder, Nneoma Wendy Uwadoka, made its way to the principal’s office for a brief meeting, during which she warmly welcomed the team and expressed her appreciation for the initiative.

The Principal, Mrs. Agboti Ngozi Etunma then guided the team to the school hall, where an eagerly crowd of students awaited.

In an address that was captivating and encouraging, Nneoma Wendy Uwadoka took the stage with a lecture on the importance of skill acquisition.

She emphasized that practical skills not only serve as a financial backbone but also builds confidence and independence in who has it.

Earlier the team leader, Amaka Chukwuegwu had delivered an insightful lecture on how to balance acquiring skills with pursuing a professional career.

Drawing from her own experiences, Amaka inspired the girls to see no conflict between their academic pursuits and their desire to develop practical skills.

Thereafter Oge, another team member then took the floor with a compelling session on brain development.

She shed light on how skill acquisition plays a pivotal role in enhancing cognitive abilities, fostering creativity, and improving problem-solving skills.

A lively question-and-answer session later followed, where students eagerly asked questions ranging from choosing the right skill to balancing time for studies and hobbies.

The team provided thoughtful responses, leaving the girls both informed and motivated.

The atmosphere shifted to one of joy and camaraderie as the event transitioned to games and the sharing of food and tote bag packages.

Laughter filled the hall as students participated in team activities designed to foster collaboration and fun.

The event came to a conclusion with a heartfelt final address, where the principal, Mrs. Agboti Ngozi Etunma joined in Thanking the team for their efforts.

She commended the initiative, highlighting its noble impact on the students and emphasizing the importance of giving back to empower the girl child.

Her words resonated deeply with everyone present.
