HOG Technologies Hosts Nigeria’s Aviation Minister Keyamo

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, recently visited the headquarters of HOG Technologies, a leading manufacturer of runway de-rubberization equipment, located in Stuart, Florida, USA.

The goal of this historic visit was to investigate innovative technology solutions that could improve airport safety, operational effectiveness, and sustainability throughout Nigeria.

This was disclosed in a press release that was provided to journalist Mr Tunde Moshood, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development’s Special Advisor on Media and Communications.

The Minister was welcomed by Mr James Crocker, Founder and CEO of HOG Technologies, and Mr Matt Butcher, Vice President of Global Sales.

The visit was accompanied by Mr Adedayo Bankole, MD/CEO of Barnksforte Group Ltd., and Mr Bishop Adejube, CEO of International Trade Exchange LLC.

The Minister gained insight into the cutting-edge technology that could solve Nigeria’s aviation problems during the tour by witnessing a live demonstration of HOG technology’s cutting-edge runway de-rubberization equipment.

Mr Crocker highlighted the equipment’s sustainability and efficiency, underscoring how well-suited HOG Technologies’ solutions are for Nigeria’s regional and busy airports.

In order to promote knowledge transfer and capacity building, he also disclosed intentions to open a regional training and support facility in Nigeria.

Following the visit, the Minister gave a speech in which he expressed hope for the partnership’s future.

“This visit marks a pivotal step in our mission to elevate Nigeria’s aviation standards. The insights and opportunities gained during this engagement lay the foundation for transformative advancements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability.”

“Part of what could be our strategic priorities, according to the is to acquire HOG Technologies’ de-rubberization equipment for major Nigerian airports, launch a pilot project at a high-traffic airport and also collaborate to train Nigerian technical teams.

“This collaboration with HOG Technologies aligns with the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development’s vision to modernise infrastructure, adopt global best practices, and ensure Nigeria’s aviation sector remains a key driver of economic growth and sustainability.”
