Adamawa State Governor Donates ₦50m To Launch Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem

The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has donated ₦50 million to support the launch of the Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem in Yola, the Adamawa State, Capital.

The launch, held at the council chamber of the government house, highlighted the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity.

Governor Fintiri praised the bravery and dedication of the officers and emphasized the importance of supporting the families of the fallen Heroes.

He called for concerted efforts to address the nation’s security challenges, underscoring peace and unity as cornerstones of national development.

At the event, the Head of Civil Service, Shehu Ardo, emphasized the significance of honouring those who paid the ultimate price for the country.

He described the emblem launch as ‘a symbol of solidarity with the families of the fallen’ and an appeal for broader support from the government and private organizations.

The State Chairman of the Nigeria Legion commended the gallantry of the Armed Forces and called for increased cooperation and support for ongoing operations.

The event featured additional donations in millions of naira from government officials and groups.

These contributions reinforced the collective commitment to honoring the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes and supporting their families.
