Anambra APC Governorship Aspirant Praises VP Shettima, Zulum for Borno’s Infrastructure Growth

A governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Anambra State, Mr Paul Chukwuma, has praised Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima and the Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, for their significant contributions to the ongoing infrastructural development in Borno State.

Chukwuma expressed his admiration during a recent courtesy visit to the Vice President at his residence in Maiduguri.

The long-time friend and political associate of the Vice President took the opportunity to commend the recent endorsement of the presidential tax reforms by the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).

Upon his warm reception by Shettima, Chukwuma remarked on the impressive infrastructural advancements and overall cleanliness of Maiduguri, attributing this progress to the exemplary governance of both Shettima, who served two terms as governor of Borno State, and the current governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum.

“I am truly impressed by the level of infrastructure development and the cleanliness of Maiduguri,” he said.

“Vice President Shettima established a solid governance framework that was built upon by Governor Zulum, further fostering development for the people of Borno State. I commend both leaders for their unwavering commitment to the welfare of the citizens and for exemplifying sustainable governance.”

In light of the Nigeria Governors Forum’s recent backing of the presidential tax reforms, Chukwuma described the NGF’s decision as both patriotic and commendable.

“I wholeheartedly commend the NGF’s endorsement of the presidential tax reforms. This initiative is a critical move towards establishing a more effective and efficient governance structure in Nigeria,” he concluded.
