Speaking to journalists after the launch in Awka, the state capital, Lady Chukwudozie stated, “We are very proud of the ‘Udo Ga-Achi’ security project. This comprehensive approach indicates that Governor Soludo has examined various facets of security and recognized the interconnectedness of security with economic development and social welfare. The Governor’s collaborative approach incorporates government, traditional rulers, and the citizenry, all working together towards creating a livable, industrious, prosperous, peaceful, and safe environment. We commend Governor Soludo for his solutions to security challenges in the state.”
She stressed the importance of the legal framework established by the newly signed homeland security legislation, which not only safeguards citizens but also ensures equitable access to justice for all Indigenes. “This is a monumental step forward in providing a structured approach to security that benefits everyone in the state,” Lady Chukwudozie noted.
As manufacturers, Lady Chukwudozie articulated optimism for a stable economy, asserting, “The unveiling of the Anambra Homeland Security Law and the launch of ‘Operation Udo Ga-Achi’ will catalyze economic stability, development, and growth. We anticipate job creation, increased investment in the state, and a boost to our Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Our Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) is set to rise, creating numerous employment opportunities and fostering significant human capital development.”
She elaborated on the positive implications for manufacturers in the state, stating that a secure environment inherently attracts investors, thereby enhancing profit margins for local businesses. “When businesses feel secure, they can focus on innovation and growth, leading to greater profitability,” she explained. “Moreover, as companies expand their operations, the demand for skilled labor increases, creating more job opportunities for the local populace.”
Lady Chukwudozie further expressed her belief that with strong security measures in place, Anambra will emerge as a beacon for industrial growth in Nigeria. “A thriving manufacturing sector is vital for economic development, and with the commitment demonstrated by our government, we are confident that we can achieve these goals together,” she asserted.
