Galaxy Backbone Earns Tier III Certification for Abuja Data Centre
Galaxy Backbone (GBB) Ltd. has earned the prestigious Uptime Institute Tier III Certification for its state-of-the-art National Shared Services Centre Data Centre 1 (NSSC DC1) in Abuja.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja, GBB’s Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Chidi Okpala, described the certification as a globally recognised milestone that highlights the organisation’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional digital infrastructure services that meet the highest global standards of availability, resilience, and reliability.

Okpala noted that the certification guarantees an infrastructure designed to withstand unexpected disruptions, including natural disasters, cyber-attacks, and emergencies.
