Japan, UNOPS Strengthen Anambra’s Flood Resilience With Emergency Support Initiative

The Government of Japan, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), in a bold step to bolster climate disaster preparedness in Anambra State, has officially handed over crucial resources aimed at mitigating the impacts of flooding.
The initiative, dubbed “Emergency Support to Climate Change,” was launched in response to the devastating floods that hit the region in 2022.
