Her song Santa achieved this milestone after surpassing 10 million units in sales across the United States.

For an African artist or anyone making music outside North and South America to earn an RIAA Diamond certification, the song must sell over 10 million units within the U.S. Latino market. Additionally, it must feature a mix of Spanish and English lyrics.

Ayra Starr’s RIAA-certified hit Santa blends Afrobeats and Reggaeton influences, featuring Puerto Rican singer-rapper Rauw Alejandro and Jamaican artist Tarik Johnston, popularly known as Rvssian.

The track, a vibrant and lyrically captivating smash hit, was released in 2024 as part of Ayra Starr’s second album, The Year I Turned 21. Like her debut project, Young and Dangerous, the album enjoyed massive success.

With this remarkable achievement, Ayra Starr continues to break records and push boundaries, solidifying her status as a global superstar.

Recently, the singer, known for rocking skimpy outfits, posted a video on Instagram showcasing her talent on the keyboard as she played and sang to her excited fans.

Impressed by Ayra Starr’s talent, DJ Cuppy, born Florence Otedola, praised the singer’s exceptional artistry.

Many of Ayra Starr’s colleagues were equally captivated by her performance, showering her with accolades.
