Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to fairness and justice for all faiths in the state.
Speaking in Numan during the consecration of Reverend Nelson Malau as Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), the governor, represented by his Chief of Staff, Amos Edgar, urged Bishop Malau to see himself as a leader for the entire society, not just for Christians.
“As a Bishop, you are leading the society, including those who are non-Christians,” he emphasized.
Governor Fintiri expressed gratitude to the LCCN for their support and prayers, which he described as vital to the success of his administration.
He called for continued prayers, including for pilgrims currently in Jerusalem and other spiritual sites, asking for divine guidance and their safe return.
The consecrating Bishop, His Lordship Rt. Reverend Godwin Udosen, encouraged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and to serve as vessels of honor, assuring them that God would not forget their labour of love.
In his remarks, Bishop Malau called on the church to support him in prayers, seeking divine strength to fulfill the mandate entrusted to him.
