KASUPDA Commences Distribution Of Demand Notice For Outdoor Adverts

Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority, (KASUPDA) has commenced the distribution of demand notices for the outdoor advertisements in the state.

The distribution of the notices followed the launching of the outdoor advertisements programme by the Director General of the Authority, Abdurrahman Yahya, recently.

In the statement issued by the Assistant Director, Public Affairs Unit of the Authority, Nuhu Dan’ayamaka, he explained that the launch and distribution of the demand notices were in line with the Kaduna State Tax Codification and Consolidation Law, 2020, as amended.

According to him, the law mandates KASUPDA to approve and collect mobile adverts, all outdoor activities, signage and telecommunication masts revenue in the state.

“All outdoor advert users for bill-boards, sign-boards and other signage issued with the notices were advised to make their payment to KASUPDA by loging to ‘kasupda.osoftpay.net’ and generate payment reference number.

Afterwards, they will proceed to ‘wwwpaykaduna.com’ and make the payment or visit KASUPDA Office for onward submission.

The Authority therefore calls for the support and co-operation of the general public, especially those having outdoor adverts to ensure prompt payment as stipulated.

He warned that appropriate action will be taken against defaulters as stipulated by the law.
