Burnaboy releases video for his hit single ‘Update’

Nigerian music star, Burna Boy, has released the video for his new single, “Update.” The video samples Soul II Soul’s 1989 classic and Grammy award-winning record, ‘Back To Life.’ The single is from Burna Boy’s upcoming album, “No Sign of Weakness.” It is twisted with a mixture of Afrobeat, pop, and piano.

Burna Boy posted the music video via his Instagram page on Wednesday, with the caption, “Update, out now #NOSIGNOFWEAKNESS”. Burna Boy, in the energetic music video, shows off his dance moves, having fun with the dancers, and fully embracing the rhythm of the new track.

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer and record producer. He gained recognition in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E.
